Beeper is an all-in-one messaging app for Android, iPhone, and desktop.

It has previously been featured as a tool for digital minimalists to simplify messaging and facilitate social media detox.

The new Beeper is transitioning to on-device connections from Beeper Cloud, providing you with end-to-end encryption on supported networks.

In other words, Beeper now lets your device connect directly to messaging networks, handling messages locally and making your texts more secure.

In the same update, Beeper introduced an optional premium plan starting at $9.99/month.

Paid users can add more accounts and access additional features, such as scheduling messages, setting reminders for chats, using incognito mode to preview messages without read receipts, transcribing voice notes, and more.
