The movement to strip back smartphones into feature phones or dumb phones is only growing.

We’re seeing this with the rising popularity of distraction-free devices like the Light Phone III and Mudita Kompakt.

The Dumb Phone app gives iPhone users a way to get that same minimalist experience without buying a separate phone.

This article will guide you in transforming your home screen into a simple, text-based app launcher.

Step 1: Configure your app list

First, open the Dumb Phone app and select only the essential apps you want to appear in your widget.
